Teresa Lorenço
Vocals
Teresa Lorenço grew up in a musical household, and has been singing since she was able to make noise. She began listening to Joni Mitchell when she was a teen, starting with Blue. Teresa has done musical theater throughout her life, and implements a sense of the emotional experience in her depictions of Joni Mitchell’s compositions. Teresa has sung actively in Western Mass for the past 10 years, and she is overjoyed to have the opportunity to pay tribute to Joni Mitchell with
Big Yellow Taxi.
Joe FitzPatrick
Drums
Joe “Jopey” Fitzpatrick is a native of Windsor Locks CT. After graduating from Westfield State College Joe taught general classroom music in Westfield and Amherst Massachusetts. Joe currently teaches privately from his home and performs with numerous local bands including Trailer Park, TJ and the Peepers, The Gaslight Tinker, Galvanizer among others. Joe has worked with numerous other bands in the area including The Bombastics, Unit 7/The Eric Olsson Band, Ed Vadas, The Equalites, The Pangeans, The Mary Jane Jones, Dan Kennedy. Joe has played percussion for numerous musicals including “West Side Story”, “Into the Woods”, “Urinetown”, “The Wizard of Oz” “In the Heights” and in 2013 he worked with the Tony Award winning team of Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater (Spring Awakenings) on the musical “Arms On Fire”. John Cabán

Guitarist, teacher and producer John Cabán has roots that run deep in the blues, funk, r&b, ambient, experimental, and world music. The Western Mass native spent 20+ years living in Brooklyn, New York where he played, toured, and/or recorded with many diverse artists from all over the globe including Richard Bona, KJ Denhert, Alana Davis, Art Neville (RIP), Eddie Kramer, Bo Diddley (RIP), Kenny Kirkland (RIP), Gianna Nannini, Alidu, Vast Ed Vadas (RIP), John Cruz, Gloria Gaynor, as well as his own projects Galvanizer, and StompBoxTrio. Rich Cahillane
Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Dulcimer
Rich Cahillane plays electric bass and acoustic guitar in Big Yellow Taxi. He's been playing, singing, writing and producing music for many years. His resume includes Hooligan, Wild Bill and the Flying Sparks, Dad, Come Home!, Dicey Riley, Leo T Baldwin, and Grammy winner Chet O'Keefe. He is one of the founders of Cooleyville Records. His most recent album Tall Tales of Hope and Heartache is available on Bandcamp .
Anne T Patterson
Vocals, Percussions
Annie Patterson has been singing around the globe for over 30 years and is well known for her work as co-creator/editor (along with her husband Peter Blood) of the popular songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again. An accomplished folk performer, singer songwriter and jazz vocalist with the band Girls From Mars, Annie sings old songs and new. She carries with her a suitcase of incredible song knowledge and a repertoire that includes over 3000 songs from many genres, including Americana, contemporary folk, ballads, gospel, country and jazz. She has spent her life working for justice through music, often accompanying herself on guitar and banjo. The award winning short documentary We Began to Sing is about Annie and Peter's lifelong commitment to peace and justice through communal singing along with their friend and mentor, the late Pete Seeger. https://www.riseupandsing.org
Robert Sherwood
Piano, Keyboard, Bass, Vocals
Multi-instrumentalist Robert Sherwood came to the US in the early ‘80s to attend Hampshire College in Western Massachusetts and stayed long enough to join local neopsych legends The Malarians through two records, countless tours and forays into the college/alternative charts. He moved to Los Angeles in the early ‘90s to found the progressive power trio Fiction which released four albums, the last of which was released by Ryko in 1999 and yielded two Top 40 radio hits, “I Could Cry” and “Six Lanes To Nowhere”. Returning to the Pioneer Valley in the early 2000’s Robert fronted the progressive string quartet Picassoface as well as playing bass guitar and keyboards for King Radio, The Ware River Club, Mass Conn-Fusion and The Soul Sensations. Robert continues to write and record ambitious music, produce and do session work nationally and internationally and released his magnum opus double album set “Good Expectations” in 2020.
